The Strasbourg Rally
The Strasbourg Rally
The Strasbourg Rally was a massive strategic effort (and propaganda effort for Korea) to launch a 200 player offensive onto the German Empire during the Korean-German War in July of 2019. However, after the Mecklenburg coup against Coyotae, supported by Aleczaender known as ArcadiusABRichter at the time, Germany made a quick peace-treaty that was accepted. Germany would join in on the rally, adding '30 more players' to the rally. This would make the rally the biggest rally ever, not only in the World War Two genre, but also in the entire War groups genre, followed by AJC who rallied nearly 200 Romans in a massive rally effort. Due to lag, the Strasbourg Rally was split into two servers, one server with minor nations including Korea, Vontroff, and the Rhine, a second server with three major nations, including the Soviet Union, and the German Empire. The rally began with 'The Overture' booming at the sounds of a hundred people chanting both ‘Glory’ and ‘Loyalty’ at the pure sight of such a mass. ArcadiusABRichter gave a quick speech regarding Korea’s Patriotic efforts and achievements, followed by instrumental marching bands consisting of the Korean Marching Band, Prussian Instrumental songs, and also epics from ‘Three steps from hell’. After the speech concluded, the nations prepared for a massive march effort, marching to songs such as the famous Radetszky Marsch, the Nibelungen Marsch, and various other Prussian Instrumentals, which lasted a total of 20 minutes. A speech resulted directly after, praising the rally and allies, and threatening any potential enemies of what they’ll be dealing with, as well as threatening Nerferdude in the event he returned to lead another allied power. The second server had a very similar speech and introduction, which begun 20 minutes after the first server’s rally. ManfredMecklenburg gave a speech after Arcadius did, resulting in a grand march shortly after, consisting of 55 Germans and 40 Russians. After the march concluded, both nations lined up and fired into the air, shortly before leaving the rally. The Strasbourg Rally although successful, and resulting in a strong alliance of major nations and strength, was a propaganda effort for the Korean Superstate, and was actually planned to help complete ArcadiusABRichter’s goal of ‘an emassed rally effort’.
Aftermath
Following the Strasbourg Rally, conflict with both the Rhine and the German Empire kicked back up assumptively due to jealousy. As a result, Korea would ally with their common ideological ally the Soviet Union, in the event of a war with the German Empire. This would result in a Cold War, leading nowhere. Meanwhile, Korea, as a client state of the Rhine, would slowly distance itself over the next couple of weeks. Korea as it plummeted into inactivity and issues with infiltration in the development team, would inevitably be shutdown, as the Richter Dynasty declared independence from the Empire of the Rhine. Coincidentally, the infiltration would result in the games Pyongyang and Guam getting shutdown, leading to the holder of Korea getting deleted, putting an end to the reign of the Rhine.
